A Seasoned Scholar–Practitioner
Pastor Caleb Ogheneoyome Egwero is a scholar–practitioner whose work in music ministry, performance, and pedagogy spans more than three decades. His professional expertise includes music consultancy, composition, vocal pedagogy, and multi-instrumental performance, with notable leadership contributions to church music across West Africa.
His conviction is rooted in an exegetical study of 2 Chronicles 5:13–14 — that church music must simultaneously advance the vision of the local congregation and the mission of the global Church. This conviction shapes every dimension of his ministry and scholarship.
He presently oversees the music ministries of three churches in Lagos, providing technical, artistic, and developmental leadership. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Mountain Top University with research interests in music education, ecclesiastical music practice, and liturgical studies.
Pastor Egwero is married to Oluwabukola Egwero, an entrepreneur committed to social and family development in Africa. They reside in Lagos, Nigeria with their two children, Lemuel and Lael.
